A 20-year Brookview resident who led past stop-sign efforts in 2010 and 2011 urged the council to visit the unusual intersection before deciding.

Said her petition gathered about 40 signatures and that residents regularly risk themselves slowing traffic for children; asked that any traffic study capture busy, warm-weather days.
