Revocation of conditional use permit for Minnesota Performance
An auto shop wants to expand into a neighboring suite and store six cars outside. The city council denied a similar request in January over code violations; the shop returned with a tenant-signature petition — but 15 opposing signatures arrived the day of the meeting, prompting calls for verification.
Zoning Ordinance Amendment
Blaine’s Planning Commission is taking public comment on proposed changes to the Development Flex zoning district’s rules and priorities. If you care about what can be built in those areas, this hearing is your chance to speak up.
Zoning Variance Public Hearing
A Blaine homeowner wants to keep a driveway that sits right on the property line instead of the required 5-foot setback. The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing so neighbors can weigh in. If approved, the homeowner avoids a costly fix—but nearby owners may raise concerns about drainage, access, or property values.
Community Survey
Blaine is running a quick five-minute community survey to hear what residents want for the city’s future. It’s a low-effort way to weigh in before officials make decisions that could affect you.
